Hello! My name is Jon, and I'm a recent graduate from Arkansas State University! I have a BFA in Fine Art, emphasizing in drawing and painting! I also incredibly enjoy doing printmaking. I've always drawn creatures and made up stories since I was a little kid. My work tends to draw its inspirations from my personal experiences, the cartoons I watched as a kid, and the desire to create images that maintain a level of both cute and creepy.

I've been away a while! I've not had much to post, but now that I'm starting to photograph my work, I can start uploading it here and sharing it with you all :D

And some tips to fix it! Everybody gets wrapped up in learning anatomy or coloring or shading that they end up forgetting about the biggest make or break rule in art. If a composition is bad, nobody's going to like your picture. It could have the most realistic thing on DA, but be totally overlooked purely due to an unsuccessful composition. Some BASIC compositional things: 1) The composition should carry the viewer through the image. My default we read images in a Z pattern, starting in the top left, moving to top right, then down to bottom left and then bottom right. You can use compositional elements to either complement this Z or you c

Holy crap have you been hiding around. Great seeing you again.
I haven't had time for anything ;~;
hahaha I know the feeling.
I'm here because I'm either intrigued by your work, or we might have similar ideas or tastes in art. I'd like to ask you to review a piece I've written and revised recently. Feel free to tell me anything you may or may not have liked about it. It is the opening chapter from my nearly completed novel: "Airless", a high fantasy/romance written in first person. The link is below:
